Client is incorporating Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007 product to manage approximately 4,000 workstations. In process of obtaining an SCCM expert who’s obtained minimally an MCP SCCM certification, MCSE preferred. The candidate should have experience implementing the product in multiple production environments with a minimum of 4,000 managed workstations in each environment. Experience with planning, deployment and management of SCCM. Candidates must understand workstation life-cycle strategy, communicate well with staff to understand Information Technology’s processes and environment and then suggest an implementation strategy while adhering to Microsoft’s best practices and recommendations.
Environment includes Microsoft Server OS, Internet Information Services (IIS), Sharepoint Services, Sharepoint Portal, NetMeeting, Live Messenger, Windows Server Update Service, and Active Directory; McAfee VirusScan and ePolicy Orchestrator; VMware ESX Server; Citrix Presentation Server; and Hewlett Packard Data Protector.
