C# Application Architect - Novi, MI

Healthcare Business Consultant - permanent


  • Leads/Directs the ongoing business operations; overseeing 70 Team Members for the exchange of 300 Million electronic transactions connected to over 30,000 providers and 7,000 submitters.   
  • Oversees a wide variety of Corporate Projects related to the Electronic Business Interchange Area including requirements definition, internal and external testing as well as product deployment and conversions. 
  • Internal or External Customer service and relationship management related to Clearinghouse, Provider Portal, and Secured Web Services for Help Desk and analytical support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sr. Project Manager - Dearborn, MI - Permanent

Project Manager with a  “start-up” background from a smaller, aggressive software development environment.  Experience managing Software projects in a Web environment, ability to move from BA, to PM, to QA – and take on other tasks in between. Must roll up sleeves and be very active/engaged with client.

Technical expertise, someone who advanced from a SW developer and moved into formal Project Management.  Experience in one or more of the following: MS Project, ChangePoint, and MS Team Foundation. Must be able to manage relationships between Sales side and Development side to give clients accurate delivery expectations, and accurate costs. Expertise in “consultative role” with clients to analyze what they truly are looking for.  Ability to suggest new ideas from previous work experience

Typical project sizes vary from client to client. This position will initially work on internal process issues to resolve existing problems.  Some projects run 4-5 months with a team of 3-4 developers and a budget of $150K - $300K.  Other assignments might be for a few days at $5K with minimal or no staff.
